Raymond G. Humphrey, 64, 1756 Westwood Drive, N.W., died 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Riverside Hospital emergency room of a heart attack.

He was born March 13, 1923, in Warren, the son of George W. and Cora Kuhn Humphrey. He retired as a sergeant from the Warren City Police Department in 1975 after 26 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Warren, Elks Lodge No. 295, VFW No. 1090, Fraternal Order of Police and Warren Police and Fire Retirees Inc., District 1, Chapter 9. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Berry Humphrey, whom he married Jan. 20, 1961; his mother, two sons, Ronald R. of Bellevue, Wash., and Jeffrey M.. of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Ben (Jean) Spencer of Warren; and three grandchildren.
