Both were members of two distinct families of Abbotts. and by their marriage instituted a third. The mother's first known ancestors lived in Plymouth, Mass., but later removed to Vermont. The first known of the father's family was at Concord, N. H. "

Death info says she was age 58 when she died making her born about 1834. Occupation on death certificate was housekeeper.

The 1860 census shows that Luther, Weltha and Wallace (age 2) are living in Bridgewater, Vermont.

In 1880 Weltha was living in Woodstock, Windsor, Vermont with her husband Luther and daughters Ella age 18 and Lucy age 8. The 1880 census says that Weltha's parents were both born in Massachusetts. A 16 year old named Fred Taylor was also living in their household at that time.
