It is written that they came to Wheeling in 1819 via Pittsburgh, PA on a flatboat which he anchored on Wheeling Creek and used as his home until he built his log cabin. Pioneer in establishing manufacturing industries.
Dana was a lumber merchant and they resided as 22 Market St.
