CEDARTOWN-Miss Cynthia Kathleen Rampley, 14, of 636 Valley RD. Cedartown, died Monday in an out-of-town hospital following a brief illness.

Miss Rampley was born Dec. 26, 1961 in Polk County, where she resided her entire life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Church Aeteens Group.

A ninth grade student at Cedartown High School, she was member of the BETA Club, Future Homemakers of America, the Girls Basketball Team, The Junior Honor Society, and the Junior Science Club. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Honors Award in Algebra and Social Studies.

Survivors include her parents; Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Rampley of Cedartown. One brother Jay Rampley of Cedartown; grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Broome, Cedartown; Mrs. Roy M. Rampley; a number of Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral services were to be held at 4 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Cedartown with the Revs. Cecil W. Johnson, and Billy Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens.

The body was to lie in state at the church from 3 p.m. until the funeral hour today.
