SHIRLEY DEAN CALDWELL, AGE 78
And a resident of the Hackley Community died Monday afternoon July 28, 2014 at her home. She was a former resident of Gretna and a member of Briarwood Baptist Church and the William D. White Lodge of the Order of the Eastern Star in Gretna. Shirley enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants and going out to eat with family and friends. She had been on several cruises with her family and was always a loving wife and mother who adored her grandchildren.
Survived by:
Husband: Jimmie "Jim" Caldwell of the Hackley Community
3 Daughters and sons in law: Donna and Joseph Curet of Wagaman, Lisa and Michael Ketchum of Madisonville, Janice Seals of Stateline
2 Grandchildren: Joshua Ketchum and Jamie Ketchum
Also numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elton Brumfield and Vera Toney Brumfield, sister Ruby Brumfield Sorenson and a brother T.J. Brumfield.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday July 30th from 10 am until the funeral service at 12 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Eric Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Briarwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
