The source for his date of birth is the 1900 U.S. Census. However, his Civil War Records show he was 21 years old when he enlisted in 1862, which would make his year of birth about 1841.
I also found 2 different sources for his death. His Civil War Pension Card shows that he died on April 7, 1910. However, his Application for Headstone shows that he died on April 20, 1910.
NOTE: When I created this memorial in 2014, I inadvertently used the dates for another George W. Ingram. The dates for the other George W. Ingram are 1848-1929. There is no Find-A-Grave memorial for this George W. Ingram, who is probably buried in Menifee Co., Kentucky, as his marker has not been found.
