CANTRELL - Ruby, 90, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008. She was a retired employee of General Electric, a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, in Green County, KY and attended Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Elliott Cantrell. Survivors include her sister, Naomi Parker and her husband, Jim; and several nieces and nephews, including Anna Marie Bosley, who helped care for her. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held 1-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. on Monday. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus.

Daughter of the late Clyde & Verdie Warren, she was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Green County and attended Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville. She was a retired employee of General Electric. She was married to Elliott Cantrell, who preceded her in death. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Naomi & Jim Parker of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews, including Anna Marie Bosley, who helped care for her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Bettie Lewis. Funeral was Monday, May 19 at Owen Funeral Home in Louisville. Burial was in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of local arrangements.
