Verlyn 'Lynn' Thiele, age 83, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2013 in Inver Grove Heights MN.
Lynn was born July 22, 1930, in Toronto SD.
He attended Central High School Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota before serving in the Army during the Korean War. In 1951, Lynn married Irene Brown and they had two sons. After a successful career in sales, he founded a number of businesses in the Twin Cities. He had a great passion for sports, enjoying football, tennis, golf, and coaching both sons. Lynn married DeVee Moore in 1983 and they resided in Wayzata MN, until retiring to Mission TX.
Lynn is survived by his sons Randy (Sandy) Thiele and Dan (Darlene) Thiele, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, his sister, Thelma Hill, and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, DeVee Thiele, parents Charles and Agnes Thiele, sisters Dehon Rhode and Theda Neuman, and brothers Weldon Thiele and Elwin (Tip) Thiele.
