In fullness of years and after a long and happy life passed away Miss ANNA MARY MAGDALEN HAMILTON, at 3:25 o'clock Thursday, July 7, in perfect peace at her home, 24 W. Franklin St. Some time ago she fell and broke her arm and since then never completely rallied. Her death was due to general debility.

The deceased was born in Hagerstown and lived in the same house all her life. She was the oldest sister of the late Ex-Governor Wm. T. Hamilton. Her parents died when she was quite young.

Miss Hamilton was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in her younger days and later attended Zion Reformed church. Of late years, however, she was not a regular attendant at either church on account of her health. She leaves many warm and constant friends and devoted relatives to mourn her loss. She was a woman of strong character, keen understanding and of an abiding affection.

One sister and one brother survive: Miss Julia A. Hamilton and Mr. James Hamilton, both of Hagerstown.

Funeral Saturday evening from the house; interment in the family lot at Rose Hill Cemetery.
