Catherine E. (Heidenfelder) Murrell, 92, passed away peacefully August 5, 2014, surrounded by loving family.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 72 years, Samuel Walter, Jr.; one daughter, three sons and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Catherine was the youngest daughter of Paul and Catherine Heidenfelder, the eleventh child of 12 siblings, and the last surviving member of the family. She lived an active, quiet life and will be remembered for her kindness and caring spirit. Sam and Catherine lived in St. Louis since 1942 until 1983, when they retired to Mountain Home, AR. For the past three years they were cared for and lived with their youngest son and his wife in Fenton, MO.
