Sidney Thomas (Tommy) Willingham, 68 of Ringgold, went home to be with his Savior Tuesday, February 08, 2005. He was the son of the late Roy L. and Toria Holbrook Willingham. Mr. Willingham retired from Combustion Engineering after 33 years as a boilermaker. He also retired from Central Auto Parts. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Temple.
Tommy was the beloved husband of 48 years to his wife, Esther Jean Willingham, Ringgold; loving father to daughters, Sherry and Chris Hill, Dalton, Lisa and Steve Williams, Ringgold; and son Brian Willingham, Atlanta; he will be sadly missed by his six grandchildren, Steven and Jennifer Willingham, Katie Hill, David Willingham, Joey Willingham, Mitchell Williams, and Sidney Grace Williams; sister, Ruth Horton, Ringgold; brothers, R. L. Willingham, Hugh Willingham, both of Ringgold, and John Willingham, Ft. Oglethorpe.
Services will be at 3 P.M., Thursday, February 10, 2005 in the chapel with Rev. David Sampson and Rev. Ron Tankersley officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8, Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
