Oscar L. Hicks
Dies At Church
LIBERTY, Jan 30. - Oscar L. Hicks, 54, of Route 1, Liberty, died while attending services at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church near here tonight at about 9 o'clock.
He was a native of Randolph County and was an employee of Stout Chair Co. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vera Langley Hicks, one sons, Garland Hicks of Liberty; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Anderson and Mrs. James Bare of Liberty; four sisters, Mrs. W. L. Langley, Mrs. M. M. Vickery, Mrs. J. M. Vickery and Mrs. Keith Martin of Route 1, Liberty; and four grandchildren.

LIBERTY, Jan 31 - Fuenral services for Oscar L. Hicks, 53, of Route 1, Liberty, who died Wednesday night, will be held at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 2:30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. G. I. Adams. Burial will be in church cemetery.
