EDGERTON-Mrs. Ernest G. Kaufman, 78, 708 W. Fulton St., a resident of Edgerton for 55 years, died Tuesday evening in Memorial Community Hospital after a short illness. The former Esther Lembrich was born April 19, 1887, in Helenville, the daughter of Valentine and Anna Gunz Lembrich, and married there April 19, 1909, to Ernest G. Kaufman. The couple observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1959. Mr. Kaufman died in 1960. Mrs. Kaufman was a member of the Congregational Church and active in Women's Fellowship. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rolf Vien, Rte. 2, Edgerton, and Mrs. Alfred Vien, Whitewater; three grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Lembrich, of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Elmer Lembrich, of Janesville; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Bidwell and Mrs. Ella Richardson, both of Evansville, Mrs. Edna Walther, Jefferson, and Mrs. Mabel Christensen, Denmark, Wis. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery.
