Mrs. Mary Horn, of 1025 E. Washington St., died at 6:45 p.m. yesterday at St. John's hospital, where she had been admitted Aug. 26. Mrs. Horn had been in ill health for four years. She was 72 years old.
She was born Dec. 26, 1879, in Hartsburg, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dilkey. She was reared in Minier, and on July 11, 1914, was married to Glen Horn, in Bloomington. For 26 years she resided in Springfield.
Surviving Mrs. Horn are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Jugan, city, and Mrs. Dora Wyatt, Cantrall; five sons, James McGinnis, veterans hospital, Downey, and Virgil McGinnis, city; Jack Horn, in the U.S. Army, stationed in California; Earl and Leo Horn, both of Springfield, and seven grandchildren.
Mrs Horn was a member of the First Christian church
The body is at the Ellinger & Kunz funeral home.

Horn-McGinnis
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Ellinger & Kunz funeral home for Mrs. Mary Horn, of 1025 E. Washington St., and her son, James A. McGinnis, of the same address. Rev. Richard B. Adams will conduct the service. Mrs. Horn will be buried in Oak Ridge cemetery and Mr. McGinnis will be buried in Camp Butler cemetery, with members of LaFore Lock post 755 conducting graveside rites.
Mrs. Horn died here Monday and Mr. McGinnis died Tuesday at the veterans hospital at Downey.
