He worked often with composers Marco Beltrami, Randy Edelman and Danny Elfman and was head of the music preparation team for many soundtrack recordings such as 'Somewhere in Time' (1980), 'Out of Africa' (1985), 'The Shawshank Redemption' (1994), 'Romeo and Juliet' (1996), 'Titanic' (1997), 'American Beauty' (1999), 'The Green Mile' (1999) 'American Gangster' (2007) 'WALL-E' (2008) and 'Wreck-It Ralph' (2009).
