PAUL BEHNKE (d. 1973)

Paul Behnke, 68, of 3437 N. Sixth St., Milwaukee, a former Manitowoc resident, died Friday at St. Nicolet Hospital, Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Behnke was born Nov. 2, 1904, in Manitowoc County, son of the late William and Martha Behnke. He married Elenore Schmidt Feb. 22, 1933, at Manitowoc. He had been employed at Manitowoc and at the Pabst Brewery Milwaukee until his retirement in 1968.

Survivors include his wife, five sons, Wayne, Robert, Melvin and John of Milwaukee and Charles of Missouri; three daughters, Miss Karen, Miss Charlotte and Mrs. Michael (Mary) Morgan of Milwaukee; a brother, Fred of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Brandes and Mrs. Adeline Fitzpatrick of Milwaukee, Mrs. William Lorch of Florida and Mrs. Charles Draheim of Sheboygan and 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday where a memorial service will be held at 8 p.m.
