JOHN GREEN, CIVIL WAR VETERAN, DEAD
His Death Is Due to Bright's Disease.
John Green, residing on north Main St, died at 10 o'clock last night at the age of sixty-nine years, ten months and four days. Death was due to Bright's disease.
Mr Green was a laborer by occupation and had lived in the county for the past seventeen years. He was born May 2, 1846 in Scioto County, and was married in 1872 to Miss Elizabeth Jane Darnell, who survives him. He was a member of R Company, 191st regiment, O.V.I. He is survived by four sons and four daughters, Mrs. Archie Rice, Mrs. Arthur Barr, Mrs. Orville Briner, Robert Green, William Green, Samuel Green and Isaac Green, all of this city, and Mrs. Flynn Burgess of Booneville, IN
