Ruth E. Hahn, 70, of Springfield, died Sunday, May 13, 2001 in St. John's Hospital. She was born Jan. 30, 1931 in Queens, N.Y., the daughter of Charles D. and Anna C. Yoh Mittler. She married Wendell Hahn in 1954. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Hahn. Mrs. Hahn was a homemaker and a member of Willing Circle of King's Daughter's, Christian Women's Fellowship and St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors: husband Wendell; a daughter, Nancy Ann (husband Gary) Brown of Egan, M.N.; five grandchildren, Henry, Peter and Tim Hahn and Matt and Laura Brown; and two cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Paul J. Olson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
