Jo Ellen Hardin, 64, of Columbus, passed from this life at 10:54 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at her home. Born in Columbus March 7, 1950, Mrs. Hardin was the daughter of Harry and Lillian Forrest Rothrock. She married Benjamin F. Hardin April 11, 1983. An avid bowler, she loved to play bingo and crochet. She was a NASCAR and Tony Stewart fan and she liked football, the Indianapolis Colts was her favorite team.
Survivors include her husband, Ben; her mother, Lillian Rothrock of Columbus; a sister, Janet (Chad) Wolf of Columbus; a brother, Paul (Paula) Rothrock of Columbus; sons, Scott Weddle of Elizabethtown, Kelly (Vicki) Wright of North Vernon, Greg (Joanna) Wright of Seymour, Kenneth (Kim) Hardin of Chandler, Warren Hardin of Columbus, and Chris (Ann) Hardin of Stoughton, Wisconsin; daughters, Brittney Wright of North Vernon and Deena (Jeramie) McCray of Columbus; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her father, Harry Rothrock; sisters, Sherry Henderson and Joyce Rothrock and grandsons, Brian Joseph Weddle and Austin Wayne Weddle.
