Annie was the daughter of John Grimmer and Annie Link. On 26 Nov 1895 she married Joseph Michel and they had six children: Mary, Charles, Flora, Johnny, Clarence and Loretta. The couple were divorced on 24 Jun 1911 and she was granted custody of the children. Annie died of cancer of the intestines at the age of 48.
