Major League Baseball Player. He pitched for the Brooklyn Bridegrooms in 1898, appearing in 14 games (starting nine), compiling a 2-6 record with an ERA of 5.63. In 1899, with the Baltimore Orioles, he appeared in eight games (starting four), with a 2-3 record and 4.60 ERA. He also played one game with Baltimore as an outfielder. At the plate, he hit .175 with four doubles and seven runs batted in.

He later worked as a tinsmith in a sheet metal shop. He never married.
