He was born, April 28, 1914, in Utica, the son of Frank and Irene (McGuire) Kunath and had lived in the Saranac Lake area most of his life.
Survivors include his mother of Rochester; four daughters, Mrs Sandra Duso, Mrs Wendy Houck, Mrs Ann Scheefer and Mrs Karen Cordaro, all of Saranac Lake; seven sons, Peter of Long Island, Paul of Lake Clear, Kenneth, Ronald, Jeffrey and Michael, all of Saranac Lake, and Randy of Vermontville; 18 grandchildren; a brother, Frank of Utica; and a sister, Mrs Geraldine Cole of Rochester.
Burial will be in the union Cemetery, Vermontville, in May.
