"St. Clair - Eugene Jamison, age 71, of St. Clair died Friday, May 5, 2000. He was born Feb. 16, 1929, in Capac. He married Hazel Foster on June 29, 1950, in Capac. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Hazel; children, Eugene (Patricia) Jamison of Cass City, Charles (Vicky) Jamison of Redding, Calif., George (Debbie) Jamison, John (Karen) Jamison and Rebecca Jamison, all of St. Clair, and Catherine (William) Blackbird of Chesterfield Township; eight granddaughters; two grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; his mother, Fern Plauman of East China Township; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael, and brothers, Roy and Harry. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2000, at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, St. Clair. The Rev. Walter Malkewitz will officiate. Interment will be in Lynn Cemetery, Lynn Township. Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family."
