Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10 a.m. Friday in the pavilion of Moran Cemetery, in Slim, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Bro. Patrick Cannon.
Mrs. Lloyd was born Jan. 7, 1929, in De Leon, Texas, to Durward Hiram “Hime” Lloyd and Fannie Mae Boswell Lloyd.
She proudly served her country as a WAVE in the U.S. Navy for two years. After leaving the Navy, Mary worked for the Southland Corporation for more than 40 years.
She was an avid reader and was a proud member of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a sister, Wanda Rae Lloyd.
Survivors include a niece, Sherrie Walkup and husband, Herbert; a grandniece, Brandy Walkup; and a host of friends.
