She married Clifford Foster on August 5, 1943 at the Russell United Methodist Church. He died on April 14, 2006.
She worked in the cafeteria at Canton College, retiring in June 1983.
She was survived by two sons, Wayne and Daniel Foster (Karen) Karen; a brother; Leland Dafoe (Dorothy); a sister; Barbara Ferero (Michael); 9 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Richard Foster; a daughter Karen Merkley; sisters, Harriett Campbell and Vera Thorbahn; a brothers; Everett “Bob” Dafoe; John and Edward Dafoe in infancy and a grandson Eric Foster.
