William Downey “Bill” Wade, 79, a 19-year resident of Pahrump, Nevada, passed away on August 26, 2014. He was born on February 20, 1935 in Kemmerer, Wyoming.
Bill was a Untied States Air Force veteran where he proudly served his country during the Korean War. During his lifetime, Bill enjoyed riding horses, hunting, gold prospecting, and riding motorcycles. He was a glazier with Olsen Glass and retired as a glazier from the Clark County School District.
Bill was a member of Choice Hills Baptist Church where he loved to serve the Lord.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Carol, they were married April 16, 1960.
He is survived by his children: Tony Kurpiel and his wife Deborah; Debbie Yelvington; Denise Yager and her husband Brad; and Dean Wade all of Pahrump; along with seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his special friend Marilyn Chiarello.
Services were held Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 10:00am at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123. Pastor Carl England Jr. will be officiating.
