Judith M. Glaeser, 70, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully Saturday morning, September 27, 2008 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
Born November 22, 1937 in Clarks Mills, Manitowoc County, Judy was a daughter of the late August and Anna (Meyer) Meyer.
On June 27, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ronald Edward Glaeser at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mills.
Judy was employed in many positions throughout her working career-- most often as someone's most valuable assistant.
The focus of her life, however was her family, friends, and many interests. She was an exceptional wife, mother, mother-in-law, and devoted grandmother, who was never too busy to take on just one more task if she could help in any way. Judy was a wonderful friend; a reliable shoulder to lean on any situation. She loved to laugh and was generous with her love and enthusiasm. Judy loved music- she was an accomplished trumpet player, organist and self taught piano player and guitarist. She sang for many years in the Holy Name Vocal Choir, and was also a part of the Bell Choir. Judy was physically active and enjoyed cross-country skiing, bicycling and traveling. Gardening was one of Judy's lifetime passions. She was able to find joy and fulfillment, for a job well-done, in nearly any task.
Judy is survived by her loving children: Dr. Scott (Jillian) Glaeser, Kohler, and Lisa (Commander Anthony) Joseph, Fleming Island, FL; four grandchildren, Sebastien and Oliver Joseph, Fleming Island, FL, and Maddy and Drew Glaeser, Kohler; sisters, Elaine Rysticken, Manitowoc, Mary Lou Simon, Adkins, TX, Kathleen Weber, Mount Calvary; sisters-in-law, Kathi Glaeser, Manitowoc, and Barb Glaeser, Fond du Lac; brother-in-law, Gary (Karen) Christiansen, Hot Springs, AR; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and an extensive network of close friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister Delores Piquette, brothers, August, Robert, and LeRoy Meyer; a sister-in-law, Judy Christiansen; and brothers-in-law, Dennis Glaeser and Robert Rysticken.
