Urbano, 79, died at his home. Born to Victor and Carolina (Ramirez) Zuniga, he married Tomasita (Campos) on November 18, 1968 in Brighton. He had moved to Brighton in 1965 from Brownsville. He owned and operated Zuniga Tortilleria and Bakery and L&Z Bakery and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was a hard worker with an eye for business. Survivors included: daughters Rosario (Roberto) Pena and Hilda (Michael) Gatewood both of Houston, TX; sons Roel (Maria) Zuniga, Reynoso, Mexico, Victor (Dominga) Zuniga, Houston, TX; stepchildren Matt (JoRita) Loredo, Joseph (Pat) Loredo, Gloria (Duane) Rose and Anita Bowman all of Brighton, and Phillip (Cheryl) Esparza, Commerce City, CO; sister Maria Zuniga of Brownsville, TX; brother Oscar Zuniga of Dinuba, CA; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren and 14 step-great grandchildren. Rosary was said April 13 followed by Mass of Christian Burial, both at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Brighton. His remains were then taken to Brownsville for interment. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
