Thelma May (Pudder) Hayes, 75, of Youngsville, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Warren General Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born March 20, 1939, in Hacker Valley, W.V., a daughter to the late Ora and Grace (Cutlip) Pudder. Thelma was a graduate of Youngsville High School and was a banker at the North Warren branch of National City Bank for 31 years. She was a former member of the Good News Community Church in Warren. She enjoyed country music, fishing, crafts, cooking, baking and loved to help older people. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her children, James A. (Linda) Tuley II of Warren, Dwayne A. (Pam) Tuley of Vienna, W.V., Tina M. (Michael) Rocco of El Cajon, CA.; a sister, Wanda Rucks of Wrightsville; 9 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; several nieces & nephews, great-nieces and nephews, 2 great-great nieces and also a close cousin and best friend, Nancy Burgos of Geneva, OH.

In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harold and Orie Pudder and a nephew Randy Pudder.

Friends may be received at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main Street in Youngsville on Thursday, September 11, from 4-7 p.m. and also for an hour prior to a funeral service that will be held there on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with the pastor Larry Little, officiating. Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.
