CONLEY-Simon Edgar Conley, known as Ed, passed away September 10, 2004, peacefully at home. Ed was born March 25, 1920 in Putnam, Oklahoma, one of ten children. After serving in the army during World War II, Ed came to California and stayed with his Uncle Lee and Aunt Bertha Renfrow. He worked in the Old Stoody Company in Santa Fe Springs, where he met his future wife, Charlotte Hatfield. They were married 56 years. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Karen Conley, daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Peter Fethke, four grandchildren, one brother, three sisters and his Aunt Bertha. Graveside services are Saturday, September 18, at 11:00 a.m., Gate 1, Rose Hills Memorial Park.
