Isabel R. (Kauffman) Boeckel, 85, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at 6:11 a.m. at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard L. Boeckel, Sr., who died February 12, 1997, and of the late William C. Jordan, Sr. Funeral Monday, March 13, at Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home and Crematorium, York. Burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Boeckel was born August 21, 1920, in York. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Elsie G. (Staub) Kauffman. Mrs. Boeckel was a factory worker at Dentsply International for 14 years. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a graduate of William Penn High School, Class of 1938. Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Y. Willders, New Holland, Linda N. Jordan, Surprise, AZ, and Eileen R. Wetzel of York; one son, William C. Jordan, Jr. of Dover; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Strausbaugh, York; two brothers, Marlet Kauffman, Ventura, CA, and Thurman Kauffman of York.
