Aina Johanna Trimbo-Jarnot
In the early morning hours of July 29, 2003, angels entered the home of Aina Johanna Trimbo-Jarnot and peacefully escorted her spirit to heaven. Her daughter was by her side. Aina was born on Sept. 19, 1915, in Roberts, the daughter of Sanfred and Ida Saarela. She was the oldest of eight children, four girls and four boys.

In her early years, Aina enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing and cooking large dinners for her family. Her homemade Finnish bread was wonderful. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy. Aina had a twinkle in her blue eyes and a giant sweet tooth. She was the heart of her family and was a devoted caring mother who often sacrificed her own needs to raise her children. If she saw a need, she reached out to help. Visitors were always warmly welcomed and left with a satisfied tummy.

Aina was an exemplary inexhaustible worker and eventually retired from AT&T.

Aina was preceded in death by her parents, Sanfred and Ida Saarela; husbands, Melvin Rishel, Gerald Henry Trimbo, Sr. and Everette Jarnot; brothers, Wilhoe, Johnny and Walter Saarela; sisters, Ellen Saarela, Aune Laferriere and Shirley (John) Wilson; daughter, Joan Birrer and granddaughter, Lori Trimbo.

She is survived by her brother, Laurie (Mertis) Saarela; sons, Bud (Jean) Trimbo, and Dennis (Ruth) Trimbo, Tom (Lia) Trimbo; daughters, Melva Weiderman (Bill Boucher,) Jean Sherwin, Linda (Aron) Hoffman, and Joyce (Jerry); 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

We know Aina is celebrating her new life in heaven with the Lord, family and friends. Until we meet again Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, you will be greatly missed and will forever live in our hearts. We Love You! Thank you for all you did for us.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 1, at Dahl Chapel, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Dahl Chapel, 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Billings
