Robert Sims was born July 17. 1916, the son of George A. and Nell Buckholt Sims. He lived most of his life in Salt Lake City and became associated with Salt Lake Transfer Co. after attending University of Utah.
He was a member of the Salt Lake City Junior Chamber of Commerce,and was also affiliated with Kaysville Rotary club and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
