Born in Plainfield on Aug. 26, 1884, the son of William and Augusta Kroos, he came to Sheboygan as a child with his family.
He attended Trinity Lutheran School and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church.
He married the former Lydia Martiens in Sheboygan on Nov. 10, 1918.
Mr. Kroos was employed at the former Crocker Chair Co. and then at Dillingham Manufacturing Co. before retiring in 1955. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; and a brother and sister, Harry, of Sheboygan and Miss Olga Kroos of Rocky Knoll. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Nickel's Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Wenger, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday.
