Price B. Womack, age 95, died September 16, 2014 in Alpharetta, GA. Until June of this year, he lived in Nashville.
Mr. Womack was born in McMinnville, TN to Cass R. and Mollie Fuston Womack. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy as an airplane radio operator. After the war, he completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Tennessee and became a Certified Public Accountant. He was a partner in the CPA firm of Paty, Womack and Foster until he left public accounting to become Director of Internal Audit at Vanderbilt University. He was a 330 Mason.
Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Henderson Womack; one son, John H. Womack and three elder siblings.
Survivors include his son, and daughter-in-law, brothers, Fuston and Junnus; sister, sister-in-law, Christine and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Hillsboro Church of Christ. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
