James E. King, age 73, of 525 Flight Road, Antigo, WI, formerly of Two Rivers, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Antigo.

James was born May 16, 1941 in Two Rivers, son of the late Raymond and Edna (Kappelmann) King. On May 23, 1964 he married Joyce Becker at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on September 26, 1999. James served in the United States Army and was employed as a machinist for Mirro and Metalware. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and the Aerospace Workers Lodge #516. James enjoyed car detailing, tinkering, fixing things, gardening, and in his younger years, motorcycles.

Survivors include his children and their spouses: Mary & Tammy King, Elcho, Kim & Kenneth Cigler, Two Rivers, and John & Jennifer King, Two Rivers; two grandsons: Dylan and Cody King; two sisters: Virginia McGovern, Two Rivers, and Marilyn Sweetman, Manitowoc; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Charles & Barbara King, Manitowoc, and Donald King, Crivitz; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Robert & Christa Becker, Manitowoc. Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: William McGovern and James Sweetman; two sisters-in-law: Kay King and Charlotte King; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Richard & Margaret Becker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel, 1500 State Highway 310, Manitowoc with entombment to follow the service.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
