Loretta Mae Ritchey, age 90 of Canton, passed away on March 28, 2012. She was born on July 19, 1921 in Canton to the late Dominic and Matilda Pellegrene. Loretta was a 1938 graduate of McKinley High School and retired from the Canton City Schools in 1985 after 30 years as a secretary. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and active with the Canton Women's Club. Loretta loved to spend time sewing and doing arts and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Pellegrene and Yolanda Geisler and her brother, James Pellegrene.
Calling hours will be Sunday 3-5pm at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave. NW). Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church (3430 St. Michael Blvd. NW Canton). Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canton ExNewsboys.
