Loretta was the daughter of Joseph Michel and Anna "Annie" Grimmer. During the 1930's and '40's she worked as a stenographer at a machine shop. In 1944 she married Henry Peltier who had been married once before. They had no children. She was a member of Lyndon Baptist Church. Loretta died at Jefferson Manor at the age of 91.
