Rose, 89, born to Tokuhei and Natsue Takamori, 1939 graduate of Ft. Lupton High School, and married Joe Uyemura on November 31, 1940, in Blanca, CO. Rose worked the family farm in Blanca for many years. She moved to Denver and became the bookkeeper for Outwest Bean Company and she continued employment there for numerous years. She also worked for the Arthritis Foundation in Denver until retirement. She was a member of the Tri-State Buddhist Temple her entire life. She loved to work in her garden and raise sheep with her husband Joe. Survivors included: children Douglas (Dorothy) Uyemura of Greeley, Carol (David) Wimberley of Winchester, VA and Donna (Donald) Lachman of Wheat Ridge; sister Ruby Harada of Windsor; seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Preceding were her husband in 2002, both parents, and sister Ina Koshio. Funeral was July 16 at Tri-State Buddhist Temple, Denver, followed by Graveside Services on July 17. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
