S.L. Hart, died Sunday at this late home, 1029 Grand avenue, after a week's illness. The deceased was nearly 80 years old, a native of New York state and served during the Civil war as a member of Company G, Thirty-sixth Wisconsin infantry, Mr. Hart had been a active member of the G.A.R., for many years, having membership in the John Buford post, this city. Mr. Hart is survived by a widow (Anna J.) and two foster children, the latter being Mrs. D.D. Ellis, of Everett, and C.B. Hart, of Boon, IA. Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 p.m. tomorrow, the Rev. Mr. Raymond, of Monroe, to deliver the funeral address. Arrangements are in charge of Maulsby & Sons. A call is made for the Women's Relief corps and the G.A.R. to attend.
