Author. A native of Los Angeles, California, he was originally an aerospace engineer before turning to writing. His works include, "Stone Fox" (1980), "Top Secret" (1985), and "General Butterfingers" (1986). His book "Stone Fox" sold over 3 million copies, and was made into a NBC television movie starring Buddy Ebsen. He passed away at the Permanente Anaheim Medical Center in Huntington Beach, California, at the age of 61, from complications of pancreatitis.
