Katie B. Hensley, 86, of Corpus Christi, passed away Thursday, May 30, 1991 in a local nursing home after a long illness. She was born June 3, 1904 in Paris, Texas and had lived in Corpus Christi since 1921. She had worked for many years as a salesperson with J.C. Penney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran H. Hensley, on October 18, 1984.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John H. and Elsie E. Hensley of Corpus Christi; two grandchildren, Bill Hensley of Ocean City, Maryland and Cayle Hammock of Corpus Christi; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 1991 at Seaside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 1991 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lowell Ryan officiating.Those who desire may make contributions to Methodist Mission Home, 6487 Whitby Road, San Antonio, Texas 78240-2198
