Leigh Kraftcheck, age 66, of 4536 Harvest Circle, Manitowoc, previously a resident of Round Lake, Ill., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah, Wis.

Leigh was born October 8, 1946, in Manitowoc, a son of the late Donald E. and Elizabeth (Bonk) Kraftcheck. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1964. Leigh was employed at Hamilton Mfg. of Two Rivers for a number of years and then was a project manager for 25 years with Harry J. Kloeppel & Associates, Inc., of Wheeling, Ill., retiring in December, 2011. He was an avid golfer who organized a very successful charity golf event in Round Lake, Ill., known as "Send a Kid to Camp". He also enjoyed traveling and photography. Leigh married Bernice Haese on June 19, 1992 in Illinois. She preceded him in death November 15, 2011.

Survivors include three sons: Jason (Sarah) Kraftcheck, of Austin, Texas, Aaron (Sharon) Kraftcheck and their children, Brandon, Lauren and Joana, of Houston, Texas, and Nathan (Jenny) Kraftcheck and their children, Hannah and Josiah, of De Pere, Wisc.; two stepdaughters: Charity DePremio, of Guiton, Georgia, and her children: Drake, Victoria, Dylan and Olivia, and Danielle Haese, of Elmsford, New York, and her fiancé, Eyton Shander. He is further survived by one brother: Steve (Debbie) Kraftcheck, of Ashville, N.C.; special friend: JoAnne Bertsche, of Manitowoc; and the mother of his sons: Karen Karstaedt, of Mishicot; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, Sunday evening, June 2, 2013, from 5 until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday morning after 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
