Last Rites Held For
Aged Nemacolin Man
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for David R. Morris, aged 90 years, who died at 5:30 a.m., Friday, August 21, 1931, in the home of his son, Harry Morris, of Nemacolin. The services were held in the Morrisville Methodist Protestant church, and interment was in Oakmont cemetery, Waynesbuurg.
Mr. Morris was a son of the late Elijah and Sarah Morris, and was a lifelong resident of Greene county. He celebrated his 90th birthday last February 23. Besides his wife, Martha Ankrom Morris, he leaves the following children: Mrs. James Muckle, of Ruff Creek; Frank P. Morris, of Waynesburg R. D. 2, and Harry Morris, of Nemacolin. One brother, Simon Morris, resides in Jackson township.
