James B. Muckle, aged 84 years, six months and four days, died at his home in Washington Township, near Ruff Creek, on Thursday, April 3, 1941, after a brief illness.
A son of the late John and Lena Cary Muckle, the deceased was born September 29, 1856, in Washington Township and spent all of his life there. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Morris Muckle; two children, Abel, at home, and Mrs. Bernice Wood, Waynesburg, R. D. 1, and two grandchildren, Martha and James Wood.
