Flora Morris Muckle, 95, of Waynesburg, R. D. 1, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 1966, at the Millers Rest Home, Claysville, R. D. 1.
She had been in her usual health and only seriously ill since August 9.
Mrs. Muckle was born March 18, 1871, in Whiteley Township, the daughter of David and Martha Ankrom Morris.
Most of her life was spent in the Ruff Creek vicinity where she was also the oldest member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and a member of the Women's Bible Class.
The past few years have been spent with her daughter and son.
Her husband, James B. Muckle, died April 3, 1941.
Surviving are one daughter, Bernice, wife of Morris G. Wood, Waynesburg, R. D. 1; one son, J. A. Muckle, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5; three grandchildren, Martha, wife of Ralph Tennant, of Davistown, and Shirley, wife of Robert Cipcic, of San Diego, Calif.; and James Wood, of Waynesburg R. D. 1, and six great-grandchildren.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was the last of her family having two brothers pre-deceasing her.
