Margaret was born on January 9, 1914, in Collins, Wis., daughter of the late Paul and Minnie (Wagner) Matznik. She attended Collins schools. On Oct. 3, 1942, Margaret married Elmer R. Kraus at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Collins. Elmer preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2000. She was a lifelong member of St. Peters Lutheran Church and was a member of the St. Peters Ladies Aid for over 50 years. Margaret was also a member of the Collins and Reedsville Senior Citizens. She enjoyed fishing with her husband Elmer.
Survivors include special family, Dean and Renee Fischer and family of Reedsville; goddaughter, Marcia Wendt, Brillion; special friend, Jolene Wellner, Manitowoc; cousins, and other special family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Collins. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Robert Hankwitz. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
