Frederick C. (Fritz) Baugniet III, 41, of Route 2, Manitowoc, died Monday morning, Sept. 13, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. The Rev. Ronald Reimer will officiate and burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Mr. Baugniet was born April 1, 1941, at Francis Creek, son of the late Frederick and Ruth Carlson Baugniet. He attended St. Anne Parochial School and was graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1959. He married Barbara Popp, April 8, 1961, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Mr. Baugniet had been employed by Schuette and Streu Construction as a truck driver and also operated Fred’s Bait Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Frederick at home; a daughter, Debra at home; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Janet Baugniet of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Leon Koch of Route 2, Two Rivers; his stepfather, Louis Ney; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Baugniet of Francis Creek; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Popp of Hatley, Wis.; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Terry.
There will be no Tuesday evening visitation at the funeral home.
