FRED BAUGNIET (d. 1968)
Fred C. Baugniet, Jr., 52, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Baugniet was born Sept. 15, 1915, at Francis Creek, son of the late Fred Baugniet and Emma Strouf Baugniet, Sr. He married Ruth Carlson June 8, 1940, at Minocqua and they lived at Francis Creek where he served as president of the Francis Creek Bank. Mr. Baugniet attended business college at Manitowoc and was a graduate in the (sic) accounting from the Ferris Institute, Big Rapids, Mich.
Employed as the director of purchasing at Manitowoc Co. Inc., he was a member of the bank board of directors, Holy Name Society of the church, Izaak Walton League and Sportsmen's Clubs at Francis Creek and Shoto.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons (private), a daughter (private), his mother, Mrs. F.C. Baugniet, of Francis Creek; a brother, Henry, and a sister, Mrs. William Wollum of Manitowoc; and six grandchildren..
Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of service. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock this Monday evening at the funeral home.
