Alberta R. Krish, age 78, of 554 S. State St., Mishicot, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Hamilton Care Center of Two Rivers. Alberta was born Sept. 5, 1932, in Green Bay to the late Joseph and Agnus Van Den Langenberg Kaster. She was a graduate of the St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay. Alberta married Harold Krish Oct. 17, 1959, at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Green Bay. She was an excellent homemaker. She was employed as a waitress and a cook for several area restaurants. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Cooperstown and the Christian Mothers of the church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She enjoyed attending their school activities, gardening and working on the family farm.

Survivors include her husband: Harold; one daughter: Diane Krish of Mishicot; four sons: Ronald Krish of Mishicot, Allan and Irma Krish of California, Steven and Mary Krish of Denmark, Jeffrey Krish of Denmark; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Rosella and Frank Schuh of Pulaski and Phyllis and Leonard Pelishek of Mountain; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Arnold and Jeanette Wilda of Manitowoc and Cathy Kaster of Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother: Myron Kaster; and a brother-in-law: Harold Drewiske.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at St. James Catholic Church in Cooperstown with the Rev. Ron Colombo officiating and assisted by Sister Gerri Krautkramer with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation. The Krish family would like to thank Dr. Andrea Carroll and the entire staff of the Hamilton Care Center for all of their love and special care given to Alberta and our family during her illness. Your kindness will always be remembered. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the Krish family with funeral arrangements.
